Chairman of the Law Enforcement and Public Safety Committee, Thomas J. Briggs,

and Deputy Chairman Ronald G. Lapp, Jr. offer the following:

 

WHEREAS, the Ulster County Sheriff is requesting the Chairman of the

Ulster County Legislature execute an on-line contract # T101547, DCJS #

LG15101547 for January 1, 2016 until December 31, 2016 with New York State

Department of Criminal Justice, for reimbursement funding to be used to replenish

funds used to purchase automatic external defibrillators (AED’s) and other medical

supplies to place in patrol vehicles, in the amount of $20,000.00; and

 WHEREAS, in order to reflect the increased funding, an amendment of the

2016 budget is necessary; now, therefore be it

RESOLVED, that the Ulster County Legislature approves the contract

amendment and the 2016 County Budget is hereby amended as follows:

INCREASE AMOUNT

AA-3110.1812.4000.4035 Police Supplies $ 20,000.00

and move its adoption.
