Chairman of the Public Works and Capital Projects Committee, Dean J. Fabiano, and

Deputy Chairman Peter M. Loughran offer the following:

WHEREAS, the County Executive has submitted this resolution on behalf of

the Department of Public Works; and

WHEREAS, the Commissioner of Public Works has prepared the Highway

Equipment List for year 2015; and

WHEREAS, the approved 2015 – 2020 Capital Improvement Program

includes a project “Equipment Replacement – Roads and Bridges” in the amount of

$2,237,000.00for the purchase of equipment in 2015 and $2,446,000.00 in 2016; and

WHEREAS, after review of equipment needs for the County Highways and

Bridges Division, the Commissioner of Public Works requests that a capital project

be established in the amount of $2,790,000.00 for the purchase of equipment in 2015;

now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, that the 2015 – 2020 Capital Program is hereby amended as

follows:

Equipment Replacement – Roads & Bridges

2015 - $2,790,000.00

2016 - $1,893,000.00

and, be it further;

RESOLVED, that the 2015 Capital Fund Budget is hereby amended as

follows:

 

 INCREASE AMOUNT

HH.5197.0453-2100.2120 Highways & Bridges Equipment $2,790,000.00
